I want you in it, fully: the wind in your hair, tears before you expected them, your people wrapped around you, plans changing, drinks spilling, running late, and laughing so hard you forget I’m even there. Nothing needs to be perfect to be worth remembering. The quiet moments matter just as much as the loud ones, and sometimes the smallest pieces of the day are the ones that stick with you the longest. I’ll guide you when you need me, step back when you don’t, and give everything else room to unfold exactly as it does. Because years from now, I don’t just want you to see what it looked like. I want you to remember who was there, what it meant, and exactly how it felt.

I’m based in Marquette, Michigan, and I’ve spent years photographing people in the places they feel most like themselves. My approach is intuitive and documentary, I’ll give you direction when you need it, hype you up when you need that too, and know when to shut up and let a moment happen.
I care a whole lot less about making everything look perfect and a whole lot more about making photographs that feel like you were actually there.
